You would not have to login (or even visit) the forum in order to vote. All you'd do is just click over and check out the new blog then reply to the email with your vote. Plus, it would give you greater privacy when voicing your opinion. The downside is, you would not be able to see other member comments and it would be less of a social activity... less discussion amongst ourselves. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
